Turlock Porcelain Veneers, Teeth Whitening, and More – Cosmetic Dentistry Gallery
At Eggleston Dental Care, we offer a range of cosmetic dentistry options to help you achieve a brilliant and beautiful smile. Below, view amazing before-and-after images of some of our patients in the Turlock area who have received teeth whitening treatments, porcelai
n veneers, and other cosmetic dentistry options.
Porcelain Veneers
Whether you want to close gaps between your teeth, straighten crooked teeth, whiten discolored teeth, or conceal worn teeth, or if you just want to create the smile of your dreams, porcelain veneers may be just what you need!
A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain that is bonded to the front of your natural tooth structure. With this porcelain layer, we can create a new shape, a new color, and a new smile for you in just a few visits.
Porcelain Crowns, Inlays, Onlays
Many cosmetic procedures include the placement of porcelain restorations. You may have teeth that are unsightly, with unhealthy amalgam fillings or old crowns with metal bases that have created a black line at the gumline. You may also have broken or worn-down teeth, or you may just want your smaller cavities restored with white, tooth-colored, composite fillings or more permanent CEREC® porcelain restorations. With porcelain crowns, inlays, and onlays, we can do it all!Gum Recontouring
When you smile, do you see a lot of gums? Do you have an uneven gumline, or do your teeth look longer on one side because of puffy, thick gums? Gum recontouring is a fast, inexpensive way to create an aesthetically balanced smile with amazing results!
Smile Whitening
Sometimes the slightest change can make a world of difference in your smile. Whitening your teeth is an easy, safe way to brighten your smile. We offer the Zoom!® in-office teeth whitening treatment. In about an hour you can whiten your smile 8 to 10 shades! The Zoom!® procedure incorporates a peroxide gel and blue light to lighten and whiten the teeth, removing unsightly surface stains. For those with hectic schedules or those who don’t want the hassle of whitening at home, this procedure is for you!
We also offer a take-home kit by Nite White®. After impressions of your teeth have been taken, a custom whitening tray is made to fit over them. You will then be instructed on how to use the whitening gel at home, and within 7 to 14 days your teeth whitening results will be fantastic. Whitening your teeth is a safe, inexpensive way to brighten, whiten, and refresh your smile.
Smile Makeovers
For our patients who want dramatic enhancement, we can combine several cosmetic options into a smile makeover. Dr. Eggleston will speak with you about your goals for enhancing your smile and then design a personalized smile makeover plan for achieving the look you desire. As with all of the cosmetic procedures he performs, Dr. Eggleston takes into consideration proper bite, jaw function, and periodontal health in order to ensure that your smile is not only beautiful but also healthy.
Replacement of Silver Fillings
Remember the days of the silver amalgam fillings? At Eggleston Dental Care, those days are gone! In the “olden days,” mercury-containing silver amalgam filling material was the standard for dental care. We have found that over the years it is actually more damaging to the teeth than newer filling methods, including natural-looking white fillings.
The silver amalgam contracts and expands with cold and heat, placing pressure on the natural tooth enamel. Over time this pressure causes cracks and fissures in the enamel, making great hiding spots for bacteria and decay! Many old amalgam fillings require root canal therapy and crowns if not replaced in time. Not only is the silver amalgam damaging to your teeth, but we also have to handle the product as a hazardous material! Now, why would we want to place a hazardous material in our patients’ mouths?
Bone Recontouring and Replacement
Bone recontouring and replacement is a great way to enhance your smile. While your teeth may be beautiful, you may have imperfections, indentations, or bulbous areas under the gum tissue. Through a simple procedure, we can recontour irregularly shaped bone, add bone to indentations, or even recontour the line of the bone around each tooth to give you a full and even-looking smile.
